Was this issue ever solved via software update? I believe I also have the washout look, but haven't used the unit since '14 and want to take advantage of my extended warranty to fix this issue if it is a hardware only fix. I have not kept current with all the latest software updates since then. I have the 2014 899CI HDSI model.

The washout issue was identified and fixed ...

Units that were already shipped with the washout issue must be sent back to HB for the hardware fix ...

Call HB with your serial number ...as they have a list of the serial numbers affected ...

Thanks. Just called HB. Service had no recollection of any affected serial number list. Regardless, my issue is being sorted out.
