Title: is the newest 798 update working correctly?

Please feel free to discuss any issues you are having with it? I am thinking of updating.

I wouldn't.....unless u plan on running 3d or Ipilot.......I wish I had stuck to the very first version mine come out with....about 18mths ago.
Picture just seemed to 'clearer' on SS and less 'pixley' on sonar :)

If you know what the original software for your unit is you can load it back into it.  Humminbird Customer Resource folks should be able to tell you what it is based on the serial number.
