Did you try trimming the motor up more? I have seen this before and it may be a faulty transducer. Do you have another ducer that you can try? Is this unit wired up to the main motor battery, trolling motor, or dedicated battery? Where is the ducer, on the transom or trolling motor? And last does it do this when electric or gas motor are on or off?

Ducer is mounted on the jackplate, wired to the main battery, tried different motor trim levels no luck.  :-\

Set the SI Range to 10 ft and see if the line is at the approximate distance to "something on the left side of your xducer" that the sonar is bouncing off of...

Most likely it is the left side of the jackplate...in which case you will have to lower the xducer...or mount the xducer to a hole shot plate...

Remember the SI beams actually extend above horizontal somewhat...and a hard surface that close to the xducer will reflect even the faintest outbound regions of the sound pulse...
