Just type Humminbird 998 si into the Google search field. There are loads of dealers showing up.
But be aware: Some offer the unit head only (CHO) without transducer or GPS.

Just posted about this on another forum.  I bought from BBG Marine.....My understanding is 3 Rivers is good too.

Before you buy from the "Humminbird Factory Outlet Store" do some web searches.  They are not affiliated with Humminbird in any way.....A New York City outfit.

A point to consider when purchasing an HB on-line or from an internet store is to ask or determine who is responsible for warranty work or new defective replacement. There are outlets that sell but do not service or warranty meaning you will have to return to HB for repairs or service...and this could be at your expense.
Most are reputable but just a caution in the world of stores and sellers today..
It is always better to ask first and not discover a problem in warranty or repair later.

I have personally dealt with JandH Products and Three Rivers Marine.  Have also heard great things about BBG.

Any one of those three are top notch in my book!  Also call to check for better pricing!

 Are any sellers of hb units authorized to service the units or do warrenty repairs? I thought defective units had to go to hb for repair.

None in the United States. Don't know about foreign countries.

Exactly right in that dealers do not service the units.
However it is wise to check and see what the seller does towards defective units. Some will exchange and handle the returns for you. Other will leave you in the cold.
In the end it is HB that services but how you get with them can be sometimes a trying event.
HB dealers are one type of sales.  Flea markets, internet and some outdoors companies simply buy bulk and sell.
All I am saying is know who you are dealing with and how they stand behind the sale..

As far as best price, I got mt 898c here. By far the best price around. Shipping was reasonable and very fast. Box was factory sealed and works great.

I bought some stuff from Poorfish and was very pleased with the service. Fast shipping and reasonable price on the handling and shipping to Germany.

For the service in Europe: I bought my 981 from G-Comm http://www.g-comm.co.uk/ and I will buy my next unit there again, because the price and service are just unbeatable for international models. I had to send it back there for service or repair. Until  summer last year the unit was serviced by JOHNSON OUTDOORS in the UK (actually right across the river from G-Comm), but it had to go to GEONAV in Italy when I sent it in for service in December.
