Carldon,

Welcome to the forum.  This looks like interference from your engine or other electronics.  What unit do you have?  Have you changed anything else? Like wiring or added other electronics?  Are you running any other depth finders or were you near any other boats with depth finders when this was happening?

Also, tell us in detail about your setup.  Units, Interlink, number of transducers, switches or y-cables, weathersense, trolling motor, etc.

The more we know the better we can help!

Good Luck,

Robert

Robert

Thanks, I run a 997c SI and it has been set on my boat for two years now, it does run in conjunction with two networked Lowrance 520, that are in dash both at the console and at the front.  the Trolling motor is an 80 lb US maxium pro min kota, but all wiring and equipment is run separtely insulated from one another.  My Transducer is Hull mounted with clear view, as mentioned this has worked perfectly up unitl I updated the unit, this is the first I have ever seen this., and it oly shows on the imaging not the traditional views, not to say that somthing might of happened over the winter, but there have been no changes to the setup.

Thanks

I would check for lose wires.  Also would trouble shoot by turning everything off except the Humminbird and then turn them on one at a time and see what happens.

You may want to also go ahead and put the 4.950 update on and see if anything changes.

Good Luck,

Robert

Almost looks like motor noise.  I had this on one of the boats we were using.  Switched boats and all was fine.
