Weathersense

I bought a used 788, that was interlinked to a 981(that someone else bought)  I did not get the gps puck for the 788, but did get the weathersense module.

When I hook the module up to the unit, it says battery low.

Where does the other cord end go? (acc.)

The other cable goes to nothing if you do not have another accessory to connect to.  It is there to be able to ‘daisy-chain’ multiple accessories together (not a GPS Receiver).

You need to replace the CR2450 Lithium coin cell that is in the WeatherSense.  Go to the Humminbird web site and download the operations manual for the WeatherSense (also called AS-BP).  It will show you how to replace the battery.
