Title: 997c SI with US2?

We have a 997c SI and are thinking of getting a Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 with US2 sonar. The chart on the Minn Kota website shows 998c SI being compatible with US2, but doesn't say anything about the 997c SI. Do any of you know if this would work with the US2?

The US2 sonar is 2d sonar only. You won't get SideImaging or DownImaging with it.

Like LocDown stated: “You won't get SideImaging or DownImaging with it” but the US2 sonar will work as a 2D sonar only transducer with your 997 unit.
