Map Offset
« on: October 31, 2009, 08:37:30 PM »
If I turn on  "Map offset" at a known location, what effect will it have on my stored Waypoints?
I asume actal waypoint location will still be driven by GPS location and that marks will just appear in a slightly different spot on the map, to where they were originally shown with "Map offset" off.
Can anyone confirm pls

Applying a Map Offset does not affect your waypoint coordinates in the real world.  Only where they are displayed on the map.  If you create a waypoint, and then apply a map offset, the waypoint is still in the same place it was in the real world where it was created.
