humminbird PC
« on: March 09, 2013, 11:10:45 PM »
I have registered my 998c and it shows up on my profile page, however when I download Humminbird PC from that page, none of the information about the unit shows up.  I thought it would enter the model and serial number and other pertinent information from the profile page. I don't see a way to add the information.  What am I doing wrong

Once you upload data from the unit or sd card, it will show up then.

I'm sorry, I should have said I don't get the information on the SDHC card.  The program software seems to download on it, but none of the information about the unit.  I don't suppose that is a problem, but I was expecting it to after watching your video.  BTW, are SDHC cards ok to use with the 998c?  Someone told me I should stick with the SD cards.

I use SanDisk SDHC cards in my 998 without any problems.

Thanks, I will use them.  Was out with a guide who told me they wouldn't work.

John,

You would have to put the SD card in the unit first.  Then bring it back to the computer and upload in to Humminbird PC

SDHC should be fine.
