The 4.700 software update is ready for some of the non-Si units. This will include some of the following (dependant on the model unit you have):
New 2D Color palettes.
Improved GPS update rate
There are also corrections for the depth offset, reported SD card size, GPS output becoming disabled during certain navigation functions, the snapshot function not working in the point of sale simulator mode, centering the boat when changing chart orientation, track becoming offset when all trackpoints used, as well as some language corrections.
Added was a sound control menu and increased trolling motor noise rejection.
As of this morning this update is only available for the following non-Si units: 1157c, 718, 728, 778c, 788c but other units will get this update through out this and possibly next week as well.
There is an issue with the Humminbird web site when logging in: be sure to select the "Login" button with your mouse cursor or it will take you to a search page if you just hit the Enter key on your PC’s keyboard.
Remember to reset the menus back to the factory defaults (use the "Restore Defaults" menu) before and after you update the software.
