How do you get the COG  and other numbers off your read outs? Thanks. Larry

COG is hard coded in the Readout box when any Chart view is on the display ...

HB thinks you should know where you're going if you're looking at a map ...

Here are your options for customizable Readouts in the 800/900 series units ...

800/900 Readouts

NAVIGATION:
1-Customize
2-Fixed: Heading
3-Fixed: Bearing
4-Fixed: Split: Cross Track Error(XTE) and Distance To Go (DTG)
5-Fixed: Split: Time To Go (TTG) and Speed

CHART:
1-Customize
2-Fixed: Heading
3-Fixed: Customize
4-Customize
5-Fixed: Speed

BIRDS EYE VIEW:
1-4 Fixed with Depth, Heading, Position, Speed
5-customize

SONAR VIEWS:
1-5 Customize

I have read there is a little more choice control in the newest software version ...

Are you on the newest version of software that would be located in your HB account ... ??

Thanks for the information on the COG. The answer to you question about the newest version is I don't believe so because I'm on 6;40 something. But thanks for your help and I will go to bass pro to get my update this week. I'll then check out what I might be able to do. Thanks again. Larry.
