so i have the setup of the HDSI transducer and the xnt 9 20 (to have depth reading at speed) with tye Y cable.

I installed it and went today to the lake, and it works. but sometimes it goes crazy and i start getting reading of 1151 feet or 800 feet, i noticed this while the boat is not moving. while the boat moves i think i didnt have any issue and i had some readings going at speeds of 20 to 30 mph...

what could it be?

some transducer interference ?

i have something really close to this setup...

Erratic depth numbers usually indicate air is getting to the face of the xducer ...

This can be caused by too high a xducer mounting or even irregularities along the boat hull creating bubbles ...

Are there rivets or other irregularities in front of the xducer ..??

Sometimes tipping the rear of the xducer down a degree or two will allow clean water flow across the face of the xducer ...

Sometimes moving the xducer down a fraction on the transom will help..

Metal boats are very finicky sometimes ...

If this is happening with the boat not moving than it is probably something besides air bubbles going across the face of the transducer (unless there is air being released under you – gassy fish? LOL! ).
Are you running both units on separate transducer at the same time?

Check to make sure your transducer is in the water. Sometime placement (mounting) can place the transducer out of the water depending on the boat plane...    Mounting picture also helps us see what you have...Chuck
