HUMVIEWER version 60 failure...
« on: June 08, 2010, 11:06:01 AM »
hi everybody, :)

since i 've downloaded yesterday the release 60, nothing works.
everything was ok with the previous release.

i did not change anything in my folders. yesterday my last 3 records could be scanned and today it's not the case.
every time i try to , humviewer gives this following message :

" This is not a valid humminbird Sonar recording file.

Could not find any .SON FILES FOR R00009."

HELP please because no explanation of this failure.

ps : i tried with many other recording files ...

PC : windows XP
my unit : 797 c2 SI

VERSION : 4.77

thanks in advance.

sorry, I got my fingers tangled up.  Humviewer is written by Martin and his link is: mrj9600.  He is on the forum staff.
Also the current release of HV is 67.  Have you tried that?

FYI:  Timo writes the humfinder software.

here is a link on the forum to make sure the data gets copied over from the unit sd to the pc.  see if this helps.

It works for us.  I ytried both the SI and the DI.  Are you right clicking on the SI or DI screen.  You should get a tab asking for several selections.  Select the color scheme and then SI Brown.

hello Chuck,

i've got no choice  between SI and DI ,as before.

Some of tabs (with many selections )has strictly dissapeared.
and only few of them  can propose me several choices. many choices "vanished" on the screen.
very strange 'cause nothin' was changed on my computer except the release !!!

 i will try again later.

have a nice day

Golly,  you might try deleting HV67 and reinstalling.   Chuck   ......::)
