Entering GPS coords
« on: July 20, 2011, 12:11:17 PM »
I need some help...got a new 1198 for work and I'm just starting to play with it. I didn't see in the quick start or the DVD manual how you manually load in GPS coordinates for a waypoint on the water...say someone calls me and says  a wreck is at this point...how do I key that into the unit and go there?  Thanks.

As a side note the process for the 1197 is page 141.
Entering a position is very easy......
Thanks for the heads-up on the 1198...

Thanks...I was a bit confused because the Quick guide said to activate the cursor then hit the 'Go To' button to create a waypoint...that wasn't what I wanted. That just brings you back to the location where the cursor is.
