Title: Helix 10 si vs 899si

Hi just wondering anyone views on the two units.
I have the 899si and was thinking about up grading to the Helix 10si, is it worth me doing so how much better are the new units ?

HELIX 10 SI GPS ...:

*Comes stock with the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T ...
*Widescreen format ...
*Brighter nit screen ...
*Autochart Live built in ...
*Will be supported for several years after the 899 ...

I wanted to add this info but could not find any "documented" info to substantiate the processor comparison ...

Thanks for adding your real world experience with the processor efficiency ...

I just upgraded my 999 to the Helix1 12si and could not be happier.  Much brighter, larger screen with much higher resolution and the faster processor make a real difference.  My 999 used the same transducer but the difference in the picture on the Helix 12 is markedly better.

Thanks guys will have to have a good think about this as going to Florida this September from the uk and these units are so much cheaper than back home .  ;)
