Having problems with my new Helix 10 gen1. The sonar works amazing. When I went to try the SI I couldn't see anything other than the top and bottom then the distance out from boat, but no detail at all. I am wondering if I need to adjust the settings. Wondering what you have your settings set at? I called HB on the possibility of a bad transducer and they told me my 1198 uses the same transducer. So I am going to go out in a couple of hours to try both units on my transducer to see if my 1198 that worked fine when I took it off last week still works on the new transducer. In the meantime if someone has some advice to try while on the water with the new unit it is much appreciated.
