Extended offshore range for XM Nav Weather Receiver
« on: August 27, 2009, 01:57:12 PM »
Those of you with one of the XM Nav Weather Receivers should notice some added range if you are using this offshore (salt water) or on the Great Lakes.  Due to changes on the broadcast data from XM/Sirius; our XM Nav Weather Receiver should now show data up to 11.5 miles off shore.  This now includes the Great Lakes but does not cover any area beyond the U.S./Canadian border.  There is no software download need for your Humminbird as all the changes made were on XM/Sirius’s side.
