I spend a lot of time fishing for smallmouth vertically, and it seems that the QB might be a worthwhile upgrade for the front of my boat. Anyone have any feedback on this? I love SI, and have an 1197 at the console. I know some people put SI on the front as well.
It seems like if I am fishing in 20-40 feet of water, QB would be a big plus. Is this is as simple as just getting a QB transducer for my 957C and connecting it?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
