I have a problem with matrix 12 probe that is;

Sounds like he is just getting a blank screen after turning on the unit and thinks that it has lost it's firmware.
zeta11: you will need the PC connect accessory(AS PC2) to load a new firmware, if it's still possible and download and install Humminbird PC.

zeta11 - does the unit still show anything when the Simulator is being used? (Try connecting only the power and turn it on)

The device's options do not show up simulator.
I gave up a poll for re-checking the electronics is defective or not elapsed. And if the Humminbird PC connection is waiting for the cable. :'(

I don’t think that loading a software update will help your Matrix 12 unit there zeta11. You will need to contact the nearest Humminbird dealer and get your Matrix 12 unit sent in to be repaired.
