Title: Registration of sounder

Had trouble registering my new humminbird on the USA site so,was wondering if I can do all my updates without Regerstration.
Had no problems with Regerstration on the Australian site for waranty but they don't have the humminbird pc or any way to update the software has to be all done on the USA site.

Justin,
I don't think you will be able to access the software downloads unless
you are registered.
Call the US customer service number:1-800-633-1468.
They'll help you get access.

Thanks for the help tried the number but doesn't work from this side of the world so going to Email humminbird to help me out.

Justins, Try the DOWNLOADS section of this Forum listed above just down the latest one for your unit.

We dont have an outside the USA section for the 597.  If someone has the code and will send it to me I will put it on the downloads.

Chuck, When I recived a 1155cx HBCS told me that the US and International units updates are the same and has no difference other than Feet 0n US and Meters on International units.

For the 155c units, US or International model, it is all the same software but this is not true for all units.  Justin lists a “597” unit.  There are different software downloads listed for the US versus International models, depending on which “597” model unit he actually has.  We have made 597ci, 597ci HD and 597ci HD DI model units, so the US version software may not load in his unit at all.

Just to let everyone know emailed humminbird within 24 hours my new sounder was sorted to be registered for updates and warranty. Very impressed with there service so far.
All updates have to be done through the USA site as the Australian site doesn't have this feature
