Witch Hz should be used for deep and shallow water?
« on: March 16, 2011, 08:04:53 AM »
I have been using 455hz almost all the time.  I tried the 800hz and found out that it seems to do better in shallow water with 10 ft or less and it looks farther up on the bank.  I want to know if I was using it right?

800 for 25 fow or less.  It takes completely different settings than your 455, and the learning curve is alot steeper. I havent got it mastered yet, but I"m getting there.

455 for any depth, shallow or deep
Hate to see her go, but love to watch her leave.
