Title: STILL A LITTLE CONFUSED ABOUT AUTOCHART

I have been reading most of the posts about AutoChart Live but I am still in the learning stage. When I bought my new Helix 7 SI Mega SI I thought I would be able to drive my boat around and watch the thing magically create a more detailed contour map of my lake. I didn't realize that I was going to have to spend more money and confusion with a Zero Lines card and Autochart PC. In fact I am still a little miffed at HB and sent them a note to let them know. They didn't care!
My question is simple. When I record data during the 8 hours allotted, will I be able to see that new information overlayed on the included basemap?  If yes, can someone tell me how? If no then whats the point of Autochart?

In the AutoChart Live Menu do you have the transparency adjusted to see the Live data  ...??
