Title: 698 si units
Post by: cary on August 22, 2014, 12:31:55 PM
2 questions.  is there an American version and an international version (Canadian) or they the same.
Is there any way to make the 698 unit hook up to a 899 or 999 unit. Ethernet.  This way the waypoints can be used by both on one card.

I assume there is a 698cxi HD SI Combo as a search turns up this model on the HB website...

The 698 is not networkable in any configuration...

But you can share waypoints by exporting the Nav data to an SD Card and physically transferring into the other unit....
