Title: Helix 9 Chirp Mega SI+ Mega DI+ G3N Transducer Anti-fouling
Post by: chesapeakefish on April 14, 2022, 05:34:34 PM
I just purchased this unit for my salt water boat. I think the SI will help me locater Striped Bass along edges. My boat stays in a slip for most of the season. I would like to use a anti-fouling on the transducer. I used Airmar Prop-Speed Foul Free on my other transducer last year and it worked great. Any reason why I should not use the Airmar Foul-Free on the Humminbird Transducer?

I think I would experiment with a small dab on the top side of the transducer before applying it to the face of the transducer  ...

That way you could see effects on the transducer plastic without possibly affecting the Sonar signal  ...
