Title: Waypoints from 798 to 365i /385i

I have a 798 on the back and a 788 up front. I am thinking about finding  a way to get a separate GPS unit up front. I already asked if a 365/385 could be used without its transducer and was told it would work. Now I would like to know if waypoints created on either the 798 or 365/385 would be transferable from one to the other using Humminbird PC or simply saving  them to a SD card and  moving them back and forth. Would it also work using a Matrix unit?

Have not tried this myself but it should work.  All use the same file name and format so I think it can be done.
