I have read and search sorry if this has been beat like a dead horse lol.
I have a 999 hdsi that i want to have a second mounting location for on the bow. I can see a second power cable useing a ram mount now and would just use another ball ram mount. Planning on purchasing a us2 equipped minnkota for 2d sonar on the trolling motor. Researching seems like the us3 switch would let me share the hdsi ducer mounted on the transome if i wanted too look at si or di. if the switch shares that info even tho data is from rear of boat pulling cranks on planners wouldn't matter. Then switch it off and use the us2 for 2d sonar........How are people doing this without having too buy another hdsi transducer and mounting it on trolling motor.. whats the most cost effective way too get the full benifits of 999 on the bow have atleast 2d info from front and ability to use si? Thanks in advance hope that makes since looks like us3 is for 5pin not 7pin like the hdsi ducer.
