Mounting plates
« on: June 29, 2012, 02:40:50 PM »
Does anyone know where online or store that sells the Teflon mounting plates that folks have been using so they can move an adjust their Transducer , would rather avoid drilling anymore holes.

Thanks...

I took 2 cutting boards and glued them together, I used 1/2 thick cutting boards. Used Gorilla glue to glue them together

Good Job Gramps! I went to H.D. and got the shortest piece of 1X4 PVC board and sliced a small 4" section.
Also bevelled the bottom edge to prevent turbulance

I attached mine with 2 SS 1/4x20 bolts and 3M 5200. The bolt holes are countersunk. Ran a bead of 5200 around the back and the bolt holes, also a little in the front holes. Put it in place and tightened the bolts and let the 5200 dry & cure, takes several days depending on the weather.

No leaks and only 2 holes below the water line
