Title: Humviewer vs Reef Master vs ?

I'm curious what people on here think is the best free 3rd party software for sonar recordings? Humviewer?

Also, since from what I hear, HB protects their software against third party developers like Reef Master. So is Humviewer just as good as Reefmaster for editing HB sonar data and then loading it back onto the unit for use?

Reefmaster will create VERY good mapping for viewing off the unit, but can only display GPS data by tricking the unit into displaying the contour lines as track data on the unit.

Since Humminbird doesn't allow for open source mapping on their units, the only software that will create high quality mapping to be displayed on on the Humminbird unit is Autochart PC......because of this restriction no other 3rd party software will be able to create a map to display on the Humminbird unit either.
