Rare German warplanes salvaged.
An Airplane wreck of Germany's most advanced night fighter from World War II HE-219 is now being salvaged in Tannis Bay, the aircraft was equipped with ejection seats.
There is currently one of the kind exhibited in NASM, Washington in U.S. and after the raising, there will also be one available in Denmark, the only one in Europe.
The finding of the plane was made with an older sonar.
See photos of salvage operation !!! Please look at >> www.danas-have.dk/He219.htm (http://www.danas-have.dk/He219.htm)
Best regards

wow, jolly roger would be jealous.
If you get more pictures post them... this appears to be the left wing and landing gear. How much did they find..?
Do you have any recorded scans from the sonar..?
Kim you might want to put that picture in the media section under wrecks also...
Thanks chuck
