Hello,
I'm new to the forum. So this question has probably already been discussed but here goes. I have been looking at our home lake on goggle earth and it has a picture of the lake when it was seven feet low. So I can see the creeks really well with log jams and areas that will hold fish. So the question is can I plug my 998 into a laptop and add GPS coordinates to it to make a path line to fish? Thanks

You can use a blank SD card & use Humminbird PC (free) do manage waypoints, tracks & routes.
You would need a PC connect cable to hook up the 998 to the lap top and this is WAY better.
