Is there a way to download Humviewer on a Mac, or is there a similar program that will let me view the sidescan recordings?

Only open source sidescan viewing software I have found is MB-System (http://www.mbari.org/data/mbsystem/ (http://www.mbari.org/data/mbsystem/)). You have to be quite familiar with Unix and programming to get it running and even then it does not support Humminbird files out of the box. How ever there isn't reason why you wouldn't get it running in Mac OS X.
I was hoping that HumViewer would be released as an open source then it would be easy to make Mac OS package. Otherwise it is up to the developer to make that package and unless he has Mac computer in his disposal, that is not likely to happen. If someone has spare Mac perhaps Martin would make an Mac version of the software if he had the computer?

me 3,lol. Do i need to install windows on my mac to get this to run? I had a look at the site from the previous post & wow was that above my pay grade.

hi ,today i tried using crossover software to run ,humviewer,siview & the others but i could not get it to work properly,looks like i will just be taking snapshots,to view on my computer & leaving the recordings on the memory card
