Using side imaging to locate bass in standing timber

Just got a new 798 SI and my home lake has a lot of standing timber in it so I am looking for all the help I can get to use it under those conditions any suggestion would be helpful I know very little about the unit other than what I read in the manual

OK..Take a bit of time and browse aroudn the forum.  Look in the forum tabs for related information.  also look at the search tab at the top right and you can enter search information and find a lot of interesting information in the forum postings.
There are hints and helps on settings, screen selections, shortcuts buttons and a host of help.
Just spend some time browsing and you will be amazed at what is out here on the forum..
and you can always post a question..
