Ethernet 998c to 999ci hd combo

What Can I share. is it possible to have the 998 a 2d and the 999 on ds/ss?

Absolutely ... With 2 SI units (and current software) both can share all Sonar technologies ... Accessories ...and waypoints ...

Mapping cannot be shared in any HB units except ONIX to ONIX ...

You can share the SI to non-SI models as well. I have a 898SI and 859DI, and can see the SI on the DI unit.

I have my new 999 networked to my 998c. I have the pwer and the tranducer connecetd to the 999. I power on the 999 andthe 998c doesnt come on unless it has direct power. All units are up to date. Shouldn't the 998 turn on aslong as its hooked to the 999

Power is not shared thru Ethernet ...

Each unit will have to be wired to 12v power ...and each unit will have to be powered on with its own power button ...
