Lacy"s Point (Lake Waco)
« on: October 31, 2012, 08:46:27 AM »

Lake Waco is my home Lake and I grew up in Waco. Years ago in my high school days we used to party at a place on Lake Waco called Lacy's point. Named for a prominent family that lived there many years before. One of the things left over from their era was their swimming pool.
I was able to capture this landmark (or watermark) on my 998c.

Would like to see more snapshots of that pool if you get the chance.  Are those trees hanging over into the pool?

Greg,
I will try and get another one of the pool and of the old house foundation. I am pretty much a rookie with this unit so far but I will try and get some more stuff.
Thanks
Bob

Looking at the snapshots you have been posting, I would say you are beyond the “Rookie” stage.  You are hereby promoted to “Greenhorn”!

Try some snapshots using the 800kHz Si sonar as well.  We have images of a pool here in Lake Eufaula (Walter F. George reservoir) that show the stairs at the shallow end with fish in the pool.

Greg,
This is the only other one I have. But I will try and get a couple more today.
