858c Quadrabeam Transducer
« on: February 02, 2012, 09:19:44 AM »
Is an 858c compatable with Quadrabeam, and which transom mount transducer would work?
Also, when using Navionics card, is the info loaded into the unit, or does the card have to remain in the unit to be used?

Thanks

The card will have to remain in the unit as it (the unit) will page information off the card as you move around.

Yes the 858c is QuadraBeam compatible (look on page 4 of your operations manual).

The transom mounted QuadraBeam transducer is the XNT-9-QB-90-T

Good point George.
When I post a link to the Humminbird web site accessories and transducers it is just to show you what they are.  You should always shop around for a better price.  Everything on the Humminbird site is sold at MSRP which you should be able to beat at most retailers.

Greg

The one thing I really like about your posts are that they always point us in the right direction.  I do not think that you should be out value shopping for us, but to help us with the information we need and that you do.  I as well as many others really appreciate your help.
