Just curios, I have three Birds on my boat. I always remove them and take them with me to the lodge at night. Does anyone know of a case that would hold the units or how do you take care of them? I have not found a way to lug all three at once without banging them together....and that I will NOT do.
Thanks

I don't leave my units on the boat even as its parked in my driveway. I have a 899 and a Helix 9 G2N. They are in the double pelican cases. I have used them for storing two 700 series perfectly. Strong, have removal foam, latches that snap shut, they are strong cases. I know that they make even better ones, but these have proven to be the best for not spending a lot of money.

Thanks: Could you post the Pelican product number...

I use soft sided coolers. (Sized appropriately). Adequate protection for just moving them around and short term storage. The hard cases were just too bulky (and heavy) for me.

My wife made me a crocheted case for my Helix 7. It has a shoulder strap and a hole in the bottom so I can just pop the mount out of the base and drop it in the case.
I also bought some screen protector films from Amazon.
