Hello Friends,
I purchased a 899ci and installed it late 2015. had only a couple pf trips on it before the ice went on. now ice is gone and I have managed a couple of trips out. The problem is it seems there is a interference or something to cause the pictures not to be crisp or at time even view able.
The transducer is on a mobile mount (I have a small bass baby boat).
The transducer is about 1 foot below the water when I deploy to get under way.
I use a electric motor, but I get interference whether if motor is on or off.
The unit has never been able to produce those clear pictures I see from everyone else on the websites of their SI units.
Ive included a couple of pictures to show what i mean, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The white horizontal bands across the screen are usually indicative of TM interference ...

Try Restore Defaults under the setup tab to maybe get an errant setting back to default ...
If the issue persists you should call HB ... 1-800-633-1468
I would suggest have some screenshots available from the unit itself instead of third party software ... HB may want see them ...
