998c SI Erasing Screenshots
« on: January 21, 2015, 12:20:02 PM »
Recently I saved several new waypoints on a scouting trip and took screenshots of the structure at these waypoints.  In Simulator mode I was cleaning up some old waypoints and deleting them and renaming some of the new ones I’d found.  During this process my 998 unit beeped several times then erased 4 of the screenshots for the 4 waypoints I had just renamed.  It didn’t erase all the new screenshots I had saved, only 4 of them.  There is a new 16 gig SD card in the unit, so I don’t think that’s the problem. Could there be an issue if I haven’t updated my 998 to the newest software version?

Haven't heard of any software problems that cause that issue.  What version of software is on the unit?

How did you have the units powered?  Borderline voltage can cause strange problems.
