Read attentively phrases: "New tools are currently being developed to DRAW SIDE SCAN MOSAIC in DrDepth. You will get proper GEO REFERENCING of you side scan data and you will be able to easily relate you side scan images to your bottom depth (and hardness) data. It will support Humminbird and Lowrance data log files, and also LIVE DATA through Lowrance ETHERNET (LSS1).". If you read something about SonarWiz. Map, Hypack etc. agree that Dr. Depth with such possibilities and for such price rather valuable product. And who is not going to belittle advantage of other products. Simply think, the choice was and is always. Yes, also I hope Dr. Depth will be use in future Humminbird live Ethernet.

Drdepth has  features that other mapping programs may not have.  It is user friendly when used with a laptop in the boat.  The parameter tuning options and database management features are very usefull.  As I used it with my laptop to map in real time it readily became apparent  that there are many advantages to using drdepth ,especially when directly inputing nema data on the water.  It allows me to watch how the map is developing and  gather data in critical areas.  It really is a neat program and for all the features it will do ,you need to look at the help documentation to fully understand its versatility.

Humminbird - the first company which has given us for daily use for rather small money technology SI and I consider that the sin not to use it in full possibilities as for data gathering, their processing in real time, manufacturing and use of own cartography, let even if is for this purpose necessary PC..... People not only thanks will tell. As already there are ready operating time 3DPartySoftware and it is necessary to make only a small step to a direction of joint cooperation.
