navigation/map issue
« on: January 21, 2014, 09:10:34 PM »
Hello forum;
Thought I would start a new thread since my image issue has been resolved.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do or if there is a setting that I can change to make my breadcrumb trail actually be where my boat is in relation to the water. I am attaching an image that I found after I came home, While on the water the trail is in inline with the boat icon. as you can see in the image there are 2 trails (one headed out and one headed in) I was actually in the center of the canal both directions, I will capture more next time out. Any Ideas?

If your boat or the breadcrumb trail is not where it should be on the map, try using the Map Offset menu.  Be aware though that using this feature may make the map off somewhere else.

Greg, If I do indeed use the offset feature is there a way to undo any changes made if needed?

Just set the Map Offset back to the default of zero.

Let me know how MO works out for you.

There are both “Set Map Offset” and “Clear Map Offset” menus.
These are under the Chart tab menus.
