Title: Double labeling
Post by: glasscat on July 06, 2015, 01:44:59 PM
When looking at waypoints in Google Earth, the location names are shown twice. I have tried downloading to SD card and reloading to PC. Same results. How do I fix?

I am guessing you're in Humminbird PC, and from there you're clicking 'View in Google Earth'.

If you right click on the top .gpx file in Humminbird PC and click view in google earth, it brings in a folder for Waypoints, a folder for Tracks, and a folder for Groups.  All of the waypoints that are in the Waypoints folder, are duplicated in the Groups folder.  It just has something to do with the way Humminbird organizes your waypoints.  To fix it, simply uncheck the checkbox next to 'Groups' when you're in Google Earth.
----or----
In Humminbird PC, rather than clicking on the .gps title, right click on 'Waypoints' and click 'View in Google Earth'.  That way it only brings in the 'Waypoints' folder, and not the 'Groups' folder.

Hope that helps.
