Profiles:
We remind folks to fill out their profile when they register...or shortly there after.
Couple of reasons for this:
1) it lets folks know where you are in case someone wants to get together for fishing or for a unit swap in trouble shooting.
2) it makes it easier to differentiate spammers from users.
We request as a minimum that you fill out the type of units(s) you have or intend on obtaining and your interest area.
It is not a requirement but a request for all users to visit their profile and make changes to these areas with consideration for your privacy..

It was due to the PROFILE that I was able to find a fellow Humminbird
user who allowed me to put my unit on his boat which allowed me to
pinpoint my problem "again thanks Tommy"
