Post by: Big Jig on April 16, 2010, 07:34:14 PM
There are 4 different downloads, do I install all of them or just the last one?
I purchased a SI transducer and I also want down imaging?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

BigJig,

Welcome to the forum.  You only need to download the latest or "highest numbered update".  The others are there for people who may need reinstall a past update.  You can of course register your unit with humminbird and download the latest update from there also.

We only keep the SideImaging Unit updates here on the forum, so if you have other HB units you would have to go there to get the updates.

Good Luck, and again, welcome to the forum!

Big Jig,
If you are meaning the four download files on the Humminbird web site than the only one you have to download is the one listed as “797c2 Si Combo Update (version 4.770)” as this is the update file you need to load on the SD card so that your unit will update.  The HumminbirdPC is a program to help you manage your waypoints.  The other two files are for watching sonar recordings on your computer when using some of the aftermarket software spoken about on this web site.
